"Where our name is our Mission"
The English Ministry (EM) here at EFC-SFV chose "Harvest" as our new name for a few reasons. First, there is precedence. Today, there are several other EM's in our denomination that have adopted "Harvest" as their name. We decided to follow that predecence, while at the same time showing unity in our denomination. Second, we change with the valley. As this valley continues to change in its make-up, our church is changing with it. In response, we've adopted a name that is open to all. Third, it reminds us of our mission., the Great Commission. Our name is both a noun and a verb. Our name reminds us "that there is a harvest that waits to be harvested? for the harvest is "plentiful".
